Meet the Owner
Mary Dent, M.S., CCC-SLP, TSSLD
is an ASHA-Certified Speech-Language Pathologist and the owner of The Speech and Language Lady. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from SUNY Cortland, and her Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from Mercy College. She is licensed to practice Speech and Language Pathology in New York and Connecticut.
Mary has over 5 years of experience working as an SLP in schools and homes. She is passionate about providing neurodiversity (ND) affirming services to children and families. She is trained in, and has experience implementing the PROMPT and Natural Language Acquisition frameworks. Mary can't wait to help your child reach their communication goals!
